Clones Are Another Way To Go Planting Ganja

When planting a ganja crop there is another way to go instead of using seeds and this is to use clones. Clones are a cutting taken from a mature plant that the grower feels is of excellent potency.

This is a way to get an exact copy of a mature plant that was selected for its potency and its harvest. Because this is a special plant many growers keep one mature female to be the mother plant to take clones from to start their crops. One mature plant can provide cuttings for several crops and each is genetically the same as the first good crop.

The clone will often root faster than the germinated seed and that means the cloned crop of ganja will grow faster than seeds, meaning harvesting will be sooner. One of the reasons the cutting will root quicker is due to the fact that it will be dipped into a rooting hormone prior to planting. To take this cutting so that it will root and grow to maturity there is a certain process that must be done properly to get a good cutting.

Faster rooting plants means not only will the cuttings reach maturity sooner, but it also means more crops can be planted because of the shorter growing time. This is important to growers, the idea of planting is to reap the benefits of the harvest and the more crops planted the more there is to harvest.
