Marijuana Growing Containers

After you get soil for your marijuana seeds to grow in you will have to get the containers ready. You need to have some sort of containers for the marijuana plants to grow in. You have to remember a few things while you are buying the containers or finding stuff to use around the house for the marijuana plants to grow in. make sure that before you use any containers that they are properly sterilized so it doesn’t damage the growing of the plants.

Picking a Container

One of the most important things about the container is how big it is. The ending size of the marijuana plant when fully grown will be rather large and the roots will be spread out a lot so you have to keep in mind that the plant will get bigger. You should also make sure that you only transplant your weed plants once per plant at most. Transplanting the marijuana plant will give it a shock and the plant will take time to recover when moved to a new container so the growing period and yield of the plant decreases temporarily.

The first container that the marijuana plant is going to grow in doesn’t have to be any more than 6 inches in diameter. This can be a clay pot or a plastic container. You will still need a second container to transplant the marijuana plant into carefully once it reaches a size that it must be transplanted to.
