Marijuana Clone Machines
If you plan to have multiple areas to grow your marijuana plants in then having a cloning machine could be very beneficial. If you set your growing area up with one room for the seedling and vegetative states and another room for the flowering state then a cloning machine can be supportive. Having a clone machine allows you to put your marijuana seeds or clones in it for the early parts of plant growth and makes things a lot simpler.
Cloning
Your clones would be placed in the clone machine until they reach a size which allows them to be moved out o the clone machine and into the hydroponic system. You transplant your marijuana plants from the clone machine to the hydroponic setup when they are ready. The dope plants should be receiving at least eighteen hours of light (hps or mh grow light) every day. Your weed plants will be forced into the flowering stage if they only get twelve hours of light every day.
Clone machines available for a low price around $100-150 will usually be too little for you to grow your weed plants from seeds/clones to when they reach a foot or two in height and are prepared to start flowering. If you invest around $250 (possibly more) you can probably get a bigger cloning machine which can grow your marijuana plants from seeds/clones to the point where they are ready to start flowering.
Lights
Since you only need a little bit of light when your dope plants are only clones or seed you can use a fluorescent light instead. These will not be nearly as expensive as using a metal halide or high pressure sodium grow light would be. Fluorescent lights won’t cost as much on the electricity bill either.
Cloner
Make sure if you buy a cloning machine that you choose a deep water cloner and not an aeroponics cloner if you have no experience with running an aeroponics setup. Aeroponics is not a good option for people who are new to growing cannabis plants.
