Light Reflection

When you buy lights for growing marijuana you are going to be spending quite a bit of money and you are also going to see a spike in your electricity bill in most cases. It is important that you are not wasting your light. Marijuana plants need as much light as they can get so angling the lights the right way is important.

With a normal bulb it is rather difficult to make sure that the marijuana plants get as much light as possible. If the light is above the plants then no matter what angle it is placed in there will still be some light going upwards. If you place the light down inside your garden next to the marijuana plants then it would be a safe assumption that most, if not all, of your light is being absorbed by the weed plants.

Reflectors are also available if you don’t want to put your lights right next to the marijuana plants or they are not shaped in a way that you can possibly do that. Sometimes the lights will come with reflectors already so you don’t have to worry about it. If they do not then you can still buy the reflector for the light. There are many different types of reflectors and each one is more effective for different reasons. You can angle the light reflectors to be able to put more concentration on one area of your marijuana plant growth operation as well. This will help you absorb all of the light so you don’t end up wasting any.
