There are some things that need to be known to educate the hydroponics cannabis grower, because growing dope is not as easy as many people would like it to be. It takes care and maintenance of the plants in order to have a good harvest, it is the old get out of it what you have put into it. With hydroponics nutrition is the most important factor, since every indoor crop needs lights and ventilation, this is the only indoor crop that does not have dirt to provide the plant with what it needs.

One of the nutrition facts is to mix the plant food in the water according to where the plants are in their growth stage, seedlings get a mixture that is half the directed mixing.

Testing needs to be done often, these cannabis plants have no soil to get their nutrition, they need pH testing done to keep the proper acidity level for the plants to grow and produce.

It is possible during some growth periods to give the plants to rich of a mixture using hydroponics; this would be during the seedling stage and during the time when they are flowering. This can be seen in the plant as burned leaves, buds that can look burned or can die and fall off the plant.

Using the proper amount of nutrients the plants when grown in a hydroponics crop will mature faster than in a soil crop and using fewer nutrients will allow the plants to grow at a slower rate.
