Growing Weed Outside
The decision to grow a weed crop outside will need some planning by the person that is going to grow a crop. The first thing that will need to be is that the site will need to be found, this should be in a place that is not easily seen by other people.
It will need to be a place where the plants are hidden yet it will need to be easy to get to for care of the crop and harvesting. It will also need to be a place that will receive enough sunlight for the plants to grow to maturity. This will also need to be an area where it is possible to carry water to or that has a water source nearby incase the growing season is a drought year. Should there not be enough rain during the growing season in order for the weed to grow to maturity and have a good harvest they will need to be watered.
The next decision will need to be the type of seeds planted, this should be decided not only by the quality of the seeds, but also ones that can grow to maturity in the length of the growing season in the persons area. This is important since some areas only have a short growing season and then cold weather sets in that will kill the weed plants no matter how mature they are. This also means they will have to wait until after the ground warms and there is no chance of frost prior to planting the seedlings.
