Stabilize pH Levels in Growing Soil

If you want to make sure that you keep the pH level of your growing soil neutral then you can use various things to change the pH level. Dolomite lime can be used to keep the pH level stable for a couple of months. Don’t use any coarse grades of dolomite lime because it can take a lot too long for it to kick in. fine size dolomite lime works to get the job done immediately. You should be able to purchase this at various gardening stores in your city.

Stabilize pH Levels

Various gardeners have utilized dolomite lime to stabilize the pH levels in their garden outside for years already. The neutral pH level sits at 7.0 and if you use dolomite lime the pH level will stay right near 7.0 even when you add new soil in the garden.

If you are growing your marijuana plants inside containers then you should dump in a cup of fine size dolomite lime to match a single cubic foot of your growing soil. You will have to mix the dolomite lime into the soil and gently pour some water in the mixture. Once you water the soil and dolomite lime together you will have to mix it well again and hold on for at least one or two days before you check the pH levels again. If you’re growing your marijuana plants in an outside garden then read the instructions given with the dolomite lime you purchase.
